I checked in some changes to the setup project that resolved the issues you reported. I'll make a new drop once I get time to test it more thoroughly. If you don't mind building from source then you can grab the latest source and build the Setup project

I installed this and then typed 'sql' into my Windows 7 Start search box. Nothing returned. 'compact' - same again.

So, I looked for the app in Program File (x86). Looked for folders starting with 'SQL', and found nothing. In amongst the mass of folders I spotted 'Christian Resma Helle', which I hadn't seen before. Found it!

Now, i know there is a tradition of creating folders: Program Files\DeveloperName\ApplicationName, but it's one of the worst conventions ever introduced. And it is one even Microsoft ignore.

** "Program Files\SQL Compact Query Analyser" makes much more sense **

These are really minor issues, but the little things help create a pleasurable experience.

The database file is larger than the configured maximum database size. This setting takes effect on the first concurrent database connection only. [ Required Max Database Size (in MB; 0 if unknown) = 0 ]

Can I change the Maximum Database Size property/parameter?

Comments: I just created a large database 3.9 GB and it works fine, but if I try to populate it with more data it fails when it reaches 4 GB which is a limitation of SQLCE and is expected. But I'm still very interested in hearing if your database doesn't fail using other tools :)

Add the ability to influence the connection string.
I wanted to open a large DB, and it seems that the MaxDatabaseSize within the connectionsting is missing to open the table.
Comments: I default the Max Database Size to 4091 which is the maximum value

Closed Issue: Script Schema and Data [16893]

I've found two problems when a user chooses the "Script Schema and Data" option:

1) DateTime values are output without being enclosed within single quotes
2) Null values are not properly outputted. The string 'NULL' should be outputted, currently nothing is outputted.

e.g.

INSERT INTO [Person] (PersonID,LastName,FirstName,HireDate,EnrollmentDate,Discriminator) VALUES (13,'Zheng','Roger',12/02/2004 00:00:00,,'Instructor');

should be

INSERT INTO [Person] (PersonID,LastName,FirstName,HireDate,EnrollmentDate,Discriminator) VALUES (13,'Zheng','Roger','12/02/2004 00:00:00',NULL,'Instructor');

Other than that issue, I'm finding your app to be very useful!
